Possums Willunga
Shiraz

Possums draws its name from a combination of those of the two owners John Possingham and Carol Summers.

The grapes for this wine came from our Willunga vineyard, located close to the Southern Ocean where cool sea breezes and fertile alluvial soils create ideal conditions for Shiraz vines.

2005 was cool in the summer and the fall was long and dry. Yields where low, producing a balanced wine of excellent flavor and color. Fully ripe grapes and wood maturation for 12 months have produced a wine with blue to purple hue, strong berry flavors and soft tannins.
