Possums draws its name from a combination of those of the two owners John Possingham and Carol Summers.

This label series is reserved for wines made from grapes grown on our elevated vineyard at Blewitt Springs. This single vineyard wine shows dark purple and vibrant violet hues, characteristic of McLaren Vale Shiraz wines. It is a well structured wine with abundant flavors of ripe blackberry and raspberry. It displays well integrated fruit and smoky oak characteristics resulting from aging for 22 months in a mixture of French and American barrels.
