Weemala Pinot Noir: 2004 100% Pinot Noir

Weemala is both an aboriginal word for good view and the name of the vineyard in the Central Ranges of NSW. The Central ranges is renowned for its cool weather and is home to the highest viticultural region in Australia-Orange- 2550-3000 feet above sea level. The climate, in conjunction with deep rich volcanic soils, makes the area ideal for producing fruit with a very high flavor and concentration, acid, balance and color.

Grown in Orange in NSW, harvested from 8 year old vines. 2004 vintage was characterized by mild sunny days and cold nights perfect for Pinot. All stainless steel production

All the grapes are picked at night to keep everything cool. The juice was clarified by cold settling and racking. Lightly filtered.
