Chateau Carillon is a large property for Pomerol expanding 45 acres. Soils and mixed between clay and gravel which is great for Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Harvested completely by hand and aged for 15-18 months in a mix a new and 1 year old barrels. Deep ruby/purple color is followed by flavors of ripe plum and cherry fruit. Very lush and seductive with a long velvety finish.
