      The Property


      3 generations of wine growers. The vineyard is located in the Savignac de l’Isle commune, close to Libourne, on what is historically called “the Bordeaux right bank”. Situated at the highest point of the Isle valley, the plots benefit from a perfect sun exposure and an exceptional drainage thanks to the natural slope.

      The Wine


      Blending

      90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon

      Aging

      Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, of which 30% are new oak.

      Vinification

      Alcoholic and Malolactic fermentation take place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, after which the wine is transferred to French oak barrels. The wine is aged for 12 months to give it structure while conserving the characteristics of the fruit, then bottled on the winery property.

      Aging potential

      It is ready to consume. It has an ageing potential of up to 8 years.

      Tasting

      Deep red color. Lifted aromas of jammy fruit interwoven with mocha notes. A supple palate, smooth and easy to drink, with an excellent balance and long finish. The characteristics of the fruit and barrels are married perfectly, creating a charming and elegant wine.

      Food pairing

      Roasted or grilled meats and cheese.To drink at around 15 °C.
