      The Property


      3 generations of wine growers. The vineyard is located in the Savignac de l’Isle commune, close to Libourne, on what is historically called “the Bordeaux right bank”. Situated at the highest point of the Isle valley, the plots benefit from a perfect sun exposure and an exceptional drainage thanks to the natural slope.

      The Wine


      Blending

      80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon

      Aging

      Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, of which 30% are new oak.

      Vinification

      lcoholic and Malolactic fermentation take place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Bottling takes place on site with property equipment.

      Aging potential

      It is ready to consume. It has an ageing potential of up to 10 years.

      Tasting

      Deep red color. Black cherry on the nose, with notes of chocolate and spice. An ample palate, red fruit up front chased by well- structured wood, and supported with intense yet supple tannins. Finishes long with persistent fruit.

      Food pairing

      Red meat, game and selection of cheese. To drink at around 15 °C.
